Independence for Birmingham?

It has often been said of the Scottish Independence question that if there had been a UK wide vote Scotland would now be an independent nation. That may or may not be the case but if there was a UK wide referendum on the question of Birmingham independence just how much support would there be for keeping this national embarrassment in the union? The city where it always rains and you are never far enough away from the horrid motorways not to hear the constant drone of traffic, the city where architecture died and concrete rules, the city where Spaghetti Junction is a beauty spot!!

Birmingham's answer to the Shard:

EVERYWHERE motorways!!

This is what passes as 'character' in Birmingham, apologies for the poor quality, the local newspaper appears not to have upgraded from its first 0.5 megapixel digital camera as of yet!

I could post countless pictures of London, showing urban motorways/dual carriageways emerging from tunnels. Yes countless.

Couldn't find any pictures of this in Exeter, guessing most of the yokels haven't got digital cameras. Even if they did they'd only have horses and carts on dirt tracks to take pictures of, the backward inbred fools.

Bowater, you should seek independence for yourself and save us from your crap trolling. Your only redeeming feature is spelling independence correctly.

Independence for the Midlands? Yes go on then. Birmingham could then be the Capital for the new Nation of Midland with Nottingham being the Second City. More money spent round here etc...
