Kuvacci, in Turkey basketball is also very big isn't it? And you have nice arenas also don't you? No need to feel envy.

If you want to update the first page Zorba. And also, the arena has a capacity of 4.000, with the capabilities of adding temporary seats increasing it to 5,500.

Well they look quite respectable Sercan. The Gr A1 stadiums are certainly not head and shoulders above them.

Also, let me add that Larissa'a indoor arena is hella ugly on the outside. Looks like a shed. However the inside redeems it. It looks very cosy.

That's wrong. Basketball has been the most popular sport in Greece for the past two decades. Only after 2004 has soccer started to regain any glamour.

Basketball has ALWAYS played second fiddle to football in Greece. It has always been popular but not to the level football has been. Basketball had its day in the sun from the mid 80's until the late 90's. It will always be popular but will be a support act to football.

Olympiakos is terrible this season, I mean they were pummelled at HOME to the Greens by 30 points. They will have a bad season. I see Panathinaikos dominating quite easily this season.

A little note to Mo Rush:

I love that satdium very much too and it is located in the region where I live. However the stadium in the picture on the top is a different one

It is called "Peace and Friendship" stadium and it is much older than the other one. They do look a bit alike and they are located not much far away from each other and BTW I pass from that bridge in the picture above like every day! The stadium you love is a Tae Kwon Do arena and the stadium in the last picture of the ones above is a Beach Voley arena.

AEL Arena, Larissa, 21000 seats

This stadium, soon to be constructed in Larissa, Greece, is to hold 21000 people and also has a retracting roof

The roof (from the inside) reminds me of that stadium in Dallas.
