Bernard Cribbins released a single about this scheme years ago. 'Hole-in-the-ground'.Get it built. Or concrete the bunker.I liked this scheme but l fear that the Kinks had another apt song about this proposal...'Tired of waiting'.Manchester would have built over a kilomiter of vertical height since this tower was promised. Fact.Personally, l have given up on this 'proposed'scheme.
Look on page one of the Manc' 'under-construction' pages.50 buildings over ten floors high.
As with football....Two different leagues.

Those who were berated for suggesting that Brum' city council were also accountable for the dragging-of-feet regarding this tower have much to applaud. My city truly takes-the-piss in terms of getting things done.

It doesn’t particularly mean that much and doesn’t really mean they are any closer to construction... apart from the obvious which is they are actually doing work to enable a start on site.
Well doing work to enable a start on site would seem pointless to me unless they were anticipating a start on site...

I'm hoping a prelet isn't far away and then if will be all systems go next year.

This one will happen IMO.

Perfectly said, if ignored said person will hopefully go back where they came from.

Meanwhile in my opinion this is another sign that this tower will go ahead

Applying for discharge of planning conditions is usually a good indication of intent.

I'm glad the economy is notoriously easy to predict. I'll mark my calendar.

You can even whizz back to 2013 when I predicted (correctly) that Birmingham's kick off year was going to be 2015...

The unpredictable bit about the recession is how bad it will be. The UK, I think could weather the storm priory to 2016. Now I'm not too sure.In fact, literally no one is. But redt assured, it delay projects like this for a few years as the money itself will go scarce again.

If you put idiot’s like CS on your ignore list, you don’t have to read the diatribe the spills out of the empty can.

Unless someone quotes it......!!! Please don’t quotes trolls.

I actually love and am in favour of (and this is surely on record) this statement project and l am genuinely glad that this tower is finally rising. Manchester truly concieves then builds towers of 100ft+ of this project and l expect at least as much vigour from the nation's second city. I really do guys.
Anyway, l will follow and admire this tower as it finally rises without 'negative' comment.

Maybe if you had finished that comment after the first sentence you wouldn't (deliberately?) annoy so many people on here.
