Off course, CBN efforts show that he is trying to decentralize the development. You can see how many projects have been announced in Vizag and in the Nellore – Rayalaseema Area. No Need to politicize for each development.
I am not politicize for each development. We are asking for decentralize developments are good on Papers and not even one is getting materialize here.

Sivarama krishna committie also asked the same decentralize but TDP did not taken report into consideration.

Even in Railway budget they asked for AP express from BZA before state govt announced official capital. As BZA has TN express,Garibrath to Nizamuddin from Chennai and Rajadhani from Chennai to Delhi via BZA.Still gave it to BZA.If they started from Kurnool and via BZA and VSKP then this will really a Innovative thinking and satisfying and giving connectivity to National Capital from Different parts of AP State.

Regarding decentralize he has do it or no option for him or anyone. He should not repeat the same mistake done in HYD.If he did not shift the IT companies and start up in Vizag in 90's then the situation would have been other way for AP and no body ever worried about HYD.

I still have hope on CBN will wait and see.

I too feel same thing. CBN is doing same mistake as he did with Hyd.
What is the need of Opening Doordarshan at Vijayawada, It is not related any ministry or Govt.

He could have Chosen Tirupati as it is hub of somany cultural events.

Traditionally the State named expresses are for connecting the state capitals with the national capital. AP exress to BZA is justified. Though some trains from TN pass through BZA the seats quota to the state are very less. AP Samparkranthi connects tirupathi and kurnool to New Delhi.

I feel Vizag needs Rajdhani or Durontoo to New Delhi. Hope i see it in coming Budget

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked the members of the Capital Advisory Committee to prepare a master plan for administrative structures in the capital city around Vijayawada.

He suggested them to consider a proposal to constitute a Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) that will look into other developments in the capital city.

In a review meeting held at the Camp office today, the Chief Minister discussed whether land acquisition or land pooling or negotiated settlements will be feasible for procuring land for the capital.

A consensus was arrived at the meeting to go for land pooling system which will be a win-win situation for both the land owners and the State Government.

Further, the Chief Minister has asked them to check the ratio of land left for common facilities, roads, land owners and the State Government. The Chief Minister will again meet the members of the committee soon.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development P Narayana, TDP MP Sujana YS Chowdary, Peepul Capital’s Srini Raju and Principal Secretary for Municipal Administration and Urban Development D Sambasiva Rao, among others.

The Cabinet sub-committee on land acquisition for the new state capital of Andhra Pradesh in the Vijayawada-Guntur-Tenali-Mangalagiri area has announced that the new city will shape up within three years.

Disclosing the decisions of the meeting here on Friday, state IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy said that the district collectors of Krishna and Guntur districts and the Registrars were invited for a meeting on “land pooling,” to be held on Oct 6 in Vijayawada.

“Other than discussing the issue in detail, we are planning to stop registration in the VGTM area for at least 10 days, when the actual land pooling process begins,” Raghunatha Reddy said.

State Municipal and Urban Development Minister P Narayana said it was decided that the process of capital building will be speeded up as the there is dire need of bringing the administration close to the people of the state.

The sub-committee has decided to acquire at least 50,000 acres of land through land pooling, out of the total requirement of at least one lakh acres required to build the infrastructure. The sub-committee has concluded that the development cost for each acre will be around Rs 60 lakh to Rs 90 lakh.

“The development cost in Naya Raipur that we have studied was around Rs 70 lakh. First we need to build the Secretariat, Assembly, Raj Bhavan, ministers and staff quarters,” Raghunatha Reddy said.

The state government is also planning to build a 184 km Outer Ring Road circling the VGTM area and a Chicago model capital with skyscrapers near the river front, keeping in mind the scarcity of land.

Yes,I agree with you that State Named Express will be from state capital to Delhi. But announcement of Train came much before the State Capital decided and at that time even Siva Ramakrishna Committee is still busy with their Tour.

Even if vizag gets Rajdhani it should go via RJY,BZA,Kazipet. Then only East and West Godavari Districts will be connected to New Delhi.

But let us see if Govt is ready to propose Rajdhani to Vizag.

Few of my friends who live between Prakasam and Chittoor felt that CBN is pouring thousands of crores in Vijayawada and Vizag for the infrastructure and a lot of investments are going to Vizag area. They felt they have been neglected in the development process and CBN is concentrating only on two big cities in Andhra and he is not decentralizing the Development. So I gave the list of the Investments that have been announced in Nellore - Rayalaseema area. So Some Agreed that they see it as decentralizing the development.

If we can provide the better infrastructure at least in and around 10 to 15 cities in AP and attract the Investments in these area , I feel that the Goal is achieved. With the financial crisis that we have, it may take 20 to 25 years to see the results of decentralization.

AP Capital to go Traffic Jam free with 3 Ring Roads.
Highway with 4 lines to connect Kurnool and Vijayawada. Also making the journey from Bangalore to Vijayawada shorter and easier.
3 hours from Hyderabad to reach Vijayawada through 6 lines mega highway road.

Three ring roads to wrap the Capital City with inner ring road (45-50kms), Central ring road (75-80 kms) and outer ring road (185-190 kms) with radial Roads.

Some of senior official and leaders unofficially commented that major part of about 70-80% of capital will be located in Guntur dist but very close to Vijayawada.

A plan to lay road on Kolkata-Chennai highway from Kanakadurga temple to Chinnakakani.

Major land acquisition for the road will be from Guntur district Kanakadurga barrage, Chinnakakani, Pedaparimi, Harichandrapuram and in between Seethanagar.

Seethanagar to Rayapudi, Harichandrapuram near Prakasam barrage will be given exemptions during collection lands, where route will directed from harichandrapuram via Pedapari towards Nagarjuna University.

Six lines roads between Seethanagar and Amaravathi on banks of Krishna River and Guntur to Amaravathi to be laid as part of the project.

Hyderabad to Capital Vijayawada 6 line road route is not yet finalized as there are two route plans. Hyderabad, Dachepalli, Piduguralla, Saathenapalli, Amaravathi to Vijayawada being one. Second route is from jagayapet via Pullichintala Project Bridge towards Achampeta, Kosurullu, Amaravathi, Vijayawada.

The emphasis on Amaravathi in the master plan is giving the implications of the precise location of the capital.

This mega Outer and 6 line plan will be one of the major projects in the construction of Capital City keeping the future needs in consideration.
