One Eastside | James Watt Queensway | Residential | 51/15fl | 155/51m | Appr.

Located on the "acquired by Court" site on Jennens Road, it seems as though we have our new tallest tower! Looks around 140-150 metres. Providing 698 residential units and a gym, along with a new public square and cafés, oh, and a rooftop bar

Due for completion Q1 2022!

I'm as speechless as you are

Lets hope we see fast movement on this! I think this must be the site that was the '44fl Court site' being discussed a few months back. Clearly turned out to be 46fl. Looking forward to more info

BKB, no one has ever confirmed where the 1,230 units were to be but I never thought it was this site. We've got the 1,230 to look forward to.

Off the top of my head:
150+ | One Eastside
132 | 2one2
120+ | Matchbox
113 | Beorma
108 | 103 Colmore
102 | Bank
100 | Axis
90 | Camp Hill
90 | New Monaco
90 | 3 Snowhill
86 | Connaught
86 | SBQ
81 | Exchange Square
80 | Dandara
75 | Lunar Ride
74 | Lancaster Gate

Excluding a lot of projects we only have limited info about; expect more to be added to this list in the coming months

Where did this come from?! It looks great. This is showing that there is real confidence in the Birmingham residential market and is hopefully a sign of things to come!

I believe the final height will be just short of 150m ...approx 145m ...but still be far the tallest habitable building in the city, appearing similar in height to the BT tower and some 25m taller than Holloway Tower

A few days ago I was thinking how nice it would be to have a proposal like Hume House in Leeds, and it indeed looks like the materials on this one will be similar. Time to break out the dancing zebra

Amazing news to wake up to! This will be incredible and as far as the other tower goes then a 1000 units surely is 60 fl +?!?

Can you think of a few other things then please?

Soho Loop planning app being submitted? A new rail station in the Greater Icknield Area? A comprehensive redevelopment of Sutton Town Centre? A Park Centralisation of Newtown and Nechells?

Cheers.

Nope, just the big shed closest to the city centre - the Peugeot and Citroen dealerships are different sites soon to be developed on.
