Develloper: LSI Project Investment

Architect lower office block: KCAP
Architect lower residential blocks: Kees Kaan

Height tower: 185m, 208,2 with spire included.
Height lower blocks up to about 65 meters.
Program: 545 residential units, 32.000m² ofiice and a few 1000's m² of commercial space.
Start: end 2008 or early 2009.

The project is almost approved now, there seem to be only small obstacles to take before construction can start, but these obstacles take time. We hope construction can start in the first half of 2009, after the old shit is demolished

Height has changed in the last design, 185m to the roof, and 208,2m to tip of the architectural spire. So 208,2 is the new official height making it the second tallest residential in Europe, and the tallest in western Europe!

The tower is pretty nice. Iam not that happy about the lower building though. I think the shape of it (the 'up side down stairs'-like facade) does not fit really well in that environment.

And off course they shouldnt make it not even a meter less tall!

Agreed, people have to think outside the box for once! I think it's a very cool design, and especially the lower volume by KCAP!

I love the bent shapes of lower part. The tower itself is a bit modest, but it height compensates all.
It will be our tallest!

The woman in the left of this picture looks like she's yelling at her kid. I wonder if she was asked to pose this way, because the architects felt the need for an abusive mother in the renders

the tower is modest, but the lower building takes the eye, so unique, so beautifully integrated into the site!

What I really wonder: those houses in the bottom right corner, are they a project too, cos I've never seen them in real life so far.

A commission of the city council has approved the tower today, some minor changes are needed for the final design, but the good news is that the height of the tower is increased to 185 meter. The tower gets a spire of 23 meter, so the structural height is 208 meter The building permit is very close now
