Did that bar and restaurant go through another name change on the right recently?

Yep. Never lasts long. New restaurant is associated with the hotel operator. Quite a few vacancies along Ruthven Street now. The main drag is pretty depressing outside of peak lunch hour.

Oh really! When I was in town this time 2 years ago (2017) it was bustling with activity. Especially in and around the CBD with all the new cafes/bars and such. Whats happened as I thought with all these new bigger developments everywhere the place was thriving? This is not good

Ice. Drought. Grand Central. General scaling back of the economy.

Off topic, but interested to hear from locals how the bypass has affected Toowoomba? Has traffic noticeably decreased?

Absolutely. Traffic noise at night in particular (from truck engine braking) has significantly reduced.

The Gladstone seems to have filled this hole quite well.

I drove through T-Bar on Saturday and noticed a large building under construction on Ruthven Street near the Bernoth Centre. Anyone have details about it?

I will be visiting Toowoomba in late March for a LEGO show, what is the weather usually like at that time of the year?

In march it will probably still be warm in the day but maybe cool at night. It's usually about 4°C cooler than Brisbane and less humidity.

The average for Toowoomba in March is minimum of 16.5 and maximum of 26.2, but have a look at the daily observations from March 2019 for an idea of what kind range of temps you could expect:

I was just going through the DA on this checking the updates and status. I noticed that the development will.also include EV fast charging stations and ample bicycle parking for employees and customers.

Sorry about the blur. Photobucket sucks. Anyway, if you squint, you can see the Gladstone.

imgur seems to work better if you want to try it out Arreis.
I actually thought this one was only 5 levels but it looks to be 6 maybe even 7 at the rear. It fills up that area nicely though.
Thanks for the image

My phone is so old it won't run the imgur app. Maybe time to update!
