I love this building but yes, I too feel like a spire, a sloping roof, or some vague sort of element on top to improve the sillhouette would be a huge plus. At least it doesn't have a hat, but instead it's a huge block, from a distance.

Up close it's more than I ever could've wanted! Absolutely stunning walking up swanston.

This is the most internally polarizing building in the city. Sometimes I think it's epic, amazing, awe inspiring (i.e. that photo above). Other times, I hate it, wish it had never been built, fugly.

It's appeal, for me anyway, seems to be wholly dictated by angle, time of day, current emotional state. It just seems so different each time, but the same each time.
