^ yeah totally understand. i told centrepoint management years ago that they had height data wrong in the display screen in the observation deck. The display showed an elevation of Sydney tower and its height @ 305m, with observation deck @ 270m. I told em that they have RL's confused. either have one or the other. The ob deck should of said 250m instead of the 270mRl or 325mRL instead of the 305m. They ended up changing it a few years later.
They should just draw up a simple diagram showing RL's on the left and above grd on the right.
I suppose 278mRl is pretty close to 300m above sydney. its sounds impressive.

I haven't been to the CBD in weeks. Does anyone have pictures of what it looks like now? I'm actually abit fearful about what it may look now. Hopefully it hasn't defaced the tower completely.

it basically looks the same. the towers walk platforms are mostly hidden on turret roof and only the north and south balconies are visable.

Heh, it looks abit funny but I'm slightly okay with it now considering that it hasn't altered its entire facade. I think a nice idea would be to have made the circular part at the top an open verandah, but I can't really describe that image I have in my head without pointing or drawing, hehe. Looking forward to visiting the CBD next time.

There is another platform now on the tower, facing out to the south east. Is there one on the western side aswell?

Btw on a side note, see centerpoint does dominate the skyline, you just need to look at it from the right angle (ie from the east) :P

I've noticed differing lighting over the past few weeks. It looked classy last night to the usual gold, but not sure if it's permanent.

ipggi, there will be only 2 platforms. both 8m wide. the southern platform is angled towards south/east beacuse of shadows issues on hyde park

Good night for scraper enthusiast on Ten news. Showing a Skywalk special very soon. Earlier they had a story about newQueensland taxes on state immigrants and how NSW want compensation for all our taxes being used up there. Many good shots of Gold Coast and Sydney
