Now that’s a compliment

I wish more people would lighten their photos redden. With the correct settings any picture can be made to look good.

Maybe Redden should produce patented ‘skyscraper viewing sunglasses’ with a ‘brightening’ filter equivalent to his photo enhancement value.

They’ll sell like hot-cakes.... among the 20 or so regular users of the Melbourne Forum.

They've removed the balustrade on the winter garden and have begun to integrate it with a SC's plaza level.

A couple of overseas tourists were oohing and aahing over the panorama you get from the Shrine's balcony today. The woman particularly noted the ripple pattern on 80 Collins Street South. I couldn't resist giving them a few facts e.g. Barak's image.

Theres sometning special about that angle. I took some overseas visitors up and they were amazed by how big the city looks.

Somehow it is hard to actually see all of Melbourne's skyline. E.g. from Queen Vic market. Why doesnt Eureka stand out more?

The city isnt exactly flat maybe the rolling hills obscure the views a bit.

The view wraps around now, and, with the build up in streets like Dorcas and Coventry, it's merging with the St Kilda Road towers. I caught this container vessel today, too.

There are two 'must see' angles to show visitors to Melbourne
1) The view from the top of the Shrine
2) The view from the Bolte.

Often, when you're in the middle of the CBD, Melbourne doesn't feel like a big city. Then you see those views and it puts it all into perspective how big it actually is.

Amazing!
