It looks like it's going to be approximately 70% the girth of Nic On Fifth, and with the additional 4 stories the Marq4 tower should have a more slender, elegant form. It will be fun to see how the pre-cast exoskeleton grid "cage" of the facade turns out from the rendering. Could look quite interesting...

Would it be a load bearing facade?

Interesting question and I don't know for sure. I'm guessing it will be part of a decorative facade component attached to the interior concrete shell which is the tower's main support. However , I do think it will have some effect of giving the illusion of an "inside out" skeletal frame covering the metal panels and glass of the facade. This isn't a great example, but at least it gives you a more detailed image and idea of what the precast concrete exterior will look like at the street level:

They're now on the final level for parking! From ground level on the Opus block you can hardly see the Wells Fargo Tower. It seems that the parking levels take about a week to 1.5 weeks to finish so with 23 stories left you can think of the math. Don't know how much they'll do during the dead of winter (January), but I'm optimistic the structure will top off by May or June next year

This block has a new 26-story tower & another 30-story tower under-construction & they won't even show up on the skyline. Amazzzzzzzzzzzzzzing!! You build things big there in Minneapolis!

It's a hotlinked image showing the latest camera feed, so the image in the post from July is always updating to show the latest shot.
