Had a walk around this today, I've got one word for it: awesome!

Seems to be a well thought out development, the quality of finish appears to be very good, there's even a kids playground in the middle of the site (who said we shouldn't be attracting families???).

Looks like the street will still be a bit dead though.Apart from those 2 or 3 portals, alluding to up to three retail/leisure units, there isn't anything else to draw people down to this street.

Thereís a lot of apartments here and the people in them will all work varied hours so I think there will be life around here all times of the day, retail wise I guess itís too close to JQ and tesco superstore to warrant any extra space - better to have ground floor apartments than empty retail units

If in the future there is a need for more commercial here Iím sure conversion would be an option

Agreed, its not looking very promising, if those ground floor openings are taken up by cafe's, foodshops or bars it could be promising, but they'll probably be small offices, potentially characterless ...roll on Harpers Hill.
