They should develop telecommuting, computerization, and Internet infrastructure. This may solve problems caused by centralization, bureaucracy, etc.

They can always get out of the contract subject to negotiated settlement. Or in Penoy's case, just arbitrarily terminate it, and pay the penalty. I'm not sure why they moved to BGC. It's so far removed not in distance but from the reality in the PH.

Because they wanted it be in a swanky sosyals place.

As discussed endlessly, it would have been infinitely miles better if the Lower and Upper House were housed in one house as Congress should be.

Kaso...*alam nyo na rason*

Both houses just 1 street away from each other... Then the DOJ between Congress and Malacanang (or satellite office)... Then the SC on the other side of Congress.

Think beyond the usual idea of having all of them work closer, as in physically close!

One crazy group can wipe out a big part of the government in one go, if your idea is followed.

Learn the realities in life. No questions asked. The world continues to turn because things are arranged in their proper places/order. The problem is man proposes a lot, only to be refused by nature!

You're the one who's out of touch.

Have you seen the structures around and inside the ADB compound in Ortigas? It's designed and built to withstand a huge car bomb.

You don't think we can build barriers and defensive structures to discourage bomb attacks and riffle assaults? You don't think we can build buildings which themselves can withstand huge bombs?

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR)

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in partnership with the Pasig River Rehabilitation Commission - PRRC and Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has started the use of a trash skimmer in its cleanup activities along Pasig River.

The use of modern technology such as skimmer aims to fast-track the cleanup and removal of garbage in waterways within Metro Manila as part of the rehabilitation of Manila Bay.

The skimmer started its regular operation on June 27, collecting 400 to 700 sacks of floating garbage and debris a day. It operates on weekdays starting from Nagtahan Bridge to Ayala Bridge extending further downstream to the Parola area near Baseco Compound.

The cleanup activities are being assisted by the PRRC's river warriors, who are engaged in the collection, transport and proper disposal of wastes collected by the skimmer and trashboat. The MMDA facilitates the transport of collected garbage to the nearest transfer station before its final disposal.

Quezon city was planned that way since Commonwealth days. There's still gov't land there. I guess the gov't offices will have to pay rent now.

The Ruling Classes were originally from the Landed Gentry - Castilian & Mestizos... then the Business Entrepreneurs - Tobacco, Abaca, Coffee, Sugar, Bananas & Pineapple Barons.. the Dictator & his Cronies and Oligarchs... then Gambling & Drug Lords - their shady Partners in Crimea... the Economists should try and run the government like businesses...

The Government Branches - Executive, Legislative & Judiciary should be near each other but not close enough that anything should happen to it the country will be left without A Leader or Ruler...

The very reason the the Crowned Head of State does not travel with the Heir to the Throne... A Spare is kept at a safe place if there is a Public Gathering...

The Filipinos are voted for they only need to do a Snap Election, make sure there is no Military Junta to do coup d’etat, Leftist/ Rightist/ Extremist waiting in the wings to overthrow the Government, we can rely on the People’s Power anytime...

The original Seat of Government was that in Rizal Park, then in Quezon Memorial Circle, it is High time that Clark should be the next Government Seat... Stick to the Master Plan this time...

What made Baguio City Unique was the American Colonial Buildings, Benguet Pines, Cool Climates...

President Duterte should do another ‘Boracay Act’ clear of unregulated structures, impose American Colonial Style of Architecture for any new building, rehabilitate the Pine Forests, restore Old Buildings & Parks...

Next to rehabilitate is the Cordilleras and Batanes promote the houses that are suitable for climate & weather and disaster adapted...

It seems that you are trying to tire some more, the already tired president by adding more load on the old man! Why not the leadership of Baguio or Batanes, etc. be tasked to all those suggestion of yours? The Philippines does not need non-performing LGU's!

The National & Local Government are thinking of ways to lower unemployment among the urban poor and why not Increase the number of Road Sweepers, River Warriors, Estero Cleaners, Garbage Colllectors, Recycling Sorters, Park Keepers, Public Market Porters, Typhoon Clearers...

Instead of handing benefits for nothing, these beneficiaries should work for their money... No free housing if you’re not going to help yourself...

Requiring all new buildings in Baguio to be based on American Colonial style is very impossible and somewhat xenocentric. The designs of houses there are already mixed unlike before when it was not that crowded and somewhat overpopulated.

Pine trees being cut is, IIRC strictly regulated or banned now in Baguio.
