Really nice stadium, you can see its made by the same guys that did the Stade de France, although I think I like this one better.

The roof looks like Stade de france's one. The grad looks like Madrid's Peineta stadium

I think its stupid to play a big game like a CL final in a stadium with running tracks around. You just don't get the same intimidating atmostphere in athletics stadiums.

I think the stadium looks amazing but I have one question: For a relatively new stadium why does the cement look so dirty or "faded"? It almost looks like the stadium has to be painted still (especially from the outside).

I agree. The stadium doesn't look like it has been finished when you look at it from the outside.

I am agree, it doesn't look so nice . But let me explain something. The architects of this stadium wanted to keep it like this. I really don't know why! Actually this kind of thing are a new fashion at the architecture (keeping the bulding without painting). But it doesn't suit to the shape of this stadium. I think it must be painted gray. What is your opinion?

Actually the raod issue was how you heard. There was a raod problem before . But now construction is going on. This is why any competition haven't been hosted by this stadium in this year. Around of this stadium was planned as an Oplympic Park. Surrouding of the stadium looks so empty now. By the way, metro construction is going on too.

The problem with the first proposal was that only half of the stadium was covered. I think it was a good descision to go for the second proposal.

With this stadium Turkey could have a very very interesting and serious bid for future olympics..Well its not as beautifull as athens olympic stadium, but it seems very nice designed and huge.

Amazing design!!!!I just love it....It`s a diferent kind of aesthetic comparing with athens!this one breads purity of lines! This seems like a temple...a true temple of football! I prefer this one, in what concers about his look, instead of Athens or Sidney!

Friends, your coments amazed me Because this stadium has been critized so much in Turkey. Actually French architetcure magazines showed it as a master piece, but we, Turks always tried to find some negativities.

Turkish Olympic Bid lost last time again. Although the half of all complexes are already ready for any Olympics. And if New York wins 2012, this stadium will have a chance for 2016, otherwise will have to wait till 2020 that it will already be an old fashioned design and need renovation. We will see

I really like the stadium. It appeals to me alot... Especially shots from the air.

The only thing I don't like, and agree with other comments here is the outside and overall "bland" look of only concrete. It makes it look very dull in that respect. But seats and concrete the colors can always be changed.

Superb stadium - amongst the top 5 in Europe.

Just a shame that they decided to install grey seats and to leave so much concrete uncovered. The same approach worked well with the Stade de France, but is taken a bit too far here. I understand the look that architects were aiming for, I just think they've made it a bit too strerile and dull, and could have drastically improved the feel of the stadium with coloured seats and some cladding.

Still, will make a fitting venue for the biggest club football event in the world in May.
