Circle Health seen from the no 47 bus (during the on / off hail storm when it wasn't hailing).

Student accommodation and also a millet & carter and Costa

I believe plot 6 wasn’t originally intended to be developed but the developer agreed to more extensive flood works in return to be able to develop on the land to make the scheme viable

Works should start once the flood alleviation scheme completes this year

Updated and bumped plot 6 thread for you

I wasn't sure where to put this question and not directly related to Pebble Mill developments, but does anyone know what is going on along the central reservation of the Bristol Road? The section south of Priory Road which is tree-lined has one or two big trees chopped down. There are small yellow flags running down the central part of the carriageway. Is it for a cycle lane?

I'm 99.9% sure this is the Selly Oak to the City Centre cycle lane works finally in action Daj & will last for something like six months, which will see something like 15 to 20 trees chopped down

Bristol Roads being split into sections, I know that much: A and B, or phase 1 and 2, with the area just south of Priory getting 3 new pedestrian crossings & a signal crossing to bring cyclists onto the central reservation

Pure irony to lose trees for a cycle lane - bikes can weave better than cars.

I think the trees being chopped down are related to the turnings in roads having filter lanes to stop clogging up the a38 traffic, I can’t find anything though...
