Okay, i didn't know that. How do they work? Like a year vignette like in Switzerland or are there day and week vignettes?

Actually I don't have the faintest idea of it, but I suppose it is either a six-month or a year-long one

you didn't have double borders (both SK and PL)? it seems that all those have only one check point

This one is single, but we used to have a few double ones as well(Cieszyn - Boguszowice PL/CZ for instance)

The most nothern Dutch - German border:

Poort van Groningen (gate of Groningen)

Road taken from Dutch side. The border is on the bridge.

The same road, but from German side. You also see the border sign of the Netherland near the highway A7.

It's quite funny to see the difference between Dutch and German roads.

De poort van Groningen (the port of Groningen)
Not translated correctly You just said something like "Haven van groningen", but you mean "Gate of Groningen".

Why don't those roads have proper markings - both sides? The Dutch does have some, but no middle markings - is it one of those "you use the middle both ways but with a tiny speed limit" roads ?
