I agree with boom. I like the first one and wouldnt mind staying in it. Russia should take my suggestion and build more of these

Countryside is so close to the capital's districts in Russia sometimes

It's not the countryside It's the suburbs, and those buildings are far-far away from the city center
This is just how it works, Russian cities get higher as they spread.

Good Lord, it's hideous, but somehow I can't look away.

Commieblocs are strangely fascinating. It's funny to think that in the west people pay good money to live in inner city apartment towers whilst I bet everyone in those pictured above couldn't wait to get out, of course I guess the inner city western towers are a bit nicer

Still these Commieblocs are rather dehumanising, I feel bad for people who have to live in them, Russia is a big country, there's lot of room to build housing estates, it's shame ppl can't afford them.
