I like Boeing over Airbus, especially cuz of the B777 series, Boeing 777 is one of the finest aircrafts ever made! Plus, Boeing is more safe than Airbus (I reckon) cuz seems like there are more Airbus crashes than Boeing. Also, Boeing is easier and less costly to maintain and they are more environmentally-friendly AFAIK and they are quite reliable aircrafts

But I dont hate Airbus hehe, my fav Airbus is A340-600 btw.

I like both, but my favourite is the world's no. 3 civilian aircraft manufacturer, Bombardier. I hope they can move up to 150 seaters and larger by 2020.

I do hope this doesn't turn into a Boeing versus Airbus thread.

I for one, like both but not all of the models.

For example, I don't like the B737. No matter how Boeing offers cabin interior "777-style" or "Sky Interior", it just feels too narrow and too claustrophobic. But I like the B747 (but too bad it's going, going, gone), and I like the B777, especially the -200LR and -300ERs... The big GE engines look bad-ass on the B777. Ironically, those are the only two models of the 777 I haven't been on yet.

One thing I love about Airbus aircraft is how quiet those things are for the passenger, sometimes too quiet actually. I was in an A330 on TG and thanks to the smooth landing at SIN, many of the passengers hadn't realized that the plane had landed until the FAs made the announcement, and people sitting in the middle, still sipping their wine and other cocktails (it was in Economy and the TG FAs were INCREDIBLY generous with serving alcohol on this short BKK-SIN flight) looked genuinely surprised that we had landed.

nice experience

From Airbus, I dont like A300, A310, and A320 family.
From Boeing, I dont like B747, B757, and B767.

Not this again All one needs to do is look at the statistics to see that that statement is patently false. Airbuses are just as safe as Boeings.

One thing i dont like about B787, its too small (only 200-290 pax max.) so I dont think there should be all 3 F, J, and Y classes. better to have J & Y class seats.

Airbus because its safer and more environmentally friendly. Boeing seems to be quite outdated in comparison.

The thing about the 787 is that it will not only replace the 767 which seats roughly around the same range, but open up new routes which have relatively smaller demand but with the 787, it will be able to operate these routes efficiently.

One thing I don't like the 787 is that it's TWO YEARS LATE and counting...

If I started an airline the fleet would consist of the following jets:

MD-90's
Boeing 787-9's
Boeing 777-200's

There's also Bombardier as well.

I don't notice much difference to the interiors at least. Economy class is still way too small and Business Class is still the way to go!

As for me:

domestic/short-haul (regional): B737-800NG.
short-medium haul: B787-9.
long haul: B777-300ER and/or A340-600.
ultra long haul: B777-200LR.

Throw in a 747-8, and I'll buy your airline... for cash.
