It's not "color coding", it's simply two different types of displays, as you can clearly see on the photos.

Didn't really get your point. These lights are used to identify route number from far away.

Thank you voidO for your impressive compilation.

One question I want to ask is whether you know the accurate statistic for the number of passengers carried on St Petersburg trams per year? I have a figure of 879 million (which would be the world's largest tram patronage) but some people have questioned whether this is an accurate figure. Do you know?

This is nice that all the signs nowadays in St. Petersburg metro are duplicated in English

what's going on with that Nadzemny Express they were going to build on the south side? I think they were desiring a streetcar or light rail or maybe a tram...

They are now thinking about possible route. The original plane was to use remote areas but they reconsidered and would like to use Moskovskiy, Ligovskiy prospect (with heavy traffic), so that you can not only get from airport to Moskovskiy vokzal, but use this transport route as alternative of metro in the south part of Saint-Petersburg

Unusual for St. Petersburg transport - Water taxi
At summer 2010, ticket cost 50 rub (1,25 euro)
3 lines in city center and one suburban: Lomonosov-Kronshtad
