I have to admit I like the other one better. This one looks older, more like existing ones, it's main advantage is the slightly better semblance to real geography near Roskilde and Helsingør

Discussion about whether to reopen Vester Voldgade to car traffic after the metro construction site was removed continues with this not very attractive compromise, and right outside Politiken's offices. Not a word from Ifversen!
Motorists have had 8-9 years to get used to the street being closed.

For the same money, or maybe less, you could have made this solution, but the problem was connected up to the whole discussion of traffic in the old town. Until that is solved we will have to put up with this unsightly mess.

Hope we keep it closed. It's clearly not needed.

Unfortunately the new battery ferries are delayed. The first five ferries should all have entered service on January 1st 2020. The first ferry will be at least 2 months delayed, but possibly more if the Odra river gets closed due to ice.

The ferries are being build at Damen Shipyards Kozle in Poland near the Czech border.

Stoppestederne i syd giver rigtig god mening.

Kilde: https://www.damen.com/en/news/2019/0...e_to_port_area
Fuld størrelse: https://www.damen.com/-/media/New-Co...area/route.jpg

- Islands Brygge Syd/Havnevigen
- Enghave Brygge
- Langeliniekaj

https://www.moviatrafik.dk/media/690...018_05_25_.pdf

I cannot read this, but it seems CPH is tryng to jump-start mobility-as-a-service system in the Øresund region (CPH - Malmø and further). Stockholm has a startup offering something like this (IIRC) - a flat montlhy fee that allows the user to access a wide variety of mobility services (public transit, share bikes, share cars, and more)

Region H will invest 500mio. kr. in Nordsjælland in renovating lokaltog infrastruture by 2026. The region states the rails are worn out by heavy demand and will upgrate rails, signals, and trains.

Of course Region Sjælland is also planning rail investments in the coming years.

I think this thread would be better for the discussion about the bike problems on Dybbølsbro. There is so much construction on Kalvebod Brygge that it seem a pity to fill that thread with traffic technical stuff.

I'll start with this link.

I have no idea if it was considered, but the space there is really tight, and roundabouts don't mix that well with adjacent traffic lights.

There are a few other solutions i could think of. One could be a separate green light for bicycles from Skelbækgade, which would cross the intersection diagonally. That would require some paint and a few new signal heads.

There was a roundabout at this place many years ago but it was replaced by traffic lights in 2004. Why? Because there were so many bicycles, that there was constantly traffic jams.

Nevertheless, a roundabout solution is back.

Reposting from Denmark nfrastructure thread as many of the complications here stem from Hovedstaden where it is hard to accommodate the additional ridership:
