Hello everyone! I just found this forum and I'm amazed by all the great photos and information about our growing city
I'm living in CPH and I love the city and I'm very interested in the architecture and the new developments in the city near the water.
I just recently found the information about the new Havnevigen project and the three towers in the project are interesting to me. I was a bit surprised because the towers look very similar to another project close to Amager strandpark called Twister? Which area do you think has the most potential?
I think the Amager project will suffer more from noise pollution but it does have the qualities from the strandpark very close by. At Havnevigen theres the large area of amager fælled but I don't know how attractive that actually is, kalvebod fælled seems more like "true" nature in comparison.

Hi Nick, welcome to Skyscrabercity which is the right and best place to be if you're interested in what's going on in amazing city in terms of development and constructions

Regarding your question about the most potentiel area, Havnevigen or East Amager. Imo. it's in the same league, and both as you know very close to the inner city and situated by water, and both developed in old clondyke industrial areas. So for me it's the same kind of projects, though forced to choose, I'll go for Havnevigen..

Meanwhile we're waiting for more developing out there, I'm playing "art photographer".

I took a ride at Islands Brygge yesterday, and due the easter holy days the city was very calm, and the weather and the light sunday was good.

Next please..

End of the city

Nice photo updates!
I visited the sales office for the Havnevigen flats, I was disappointed with a ceiling height of only 2,5m.
It's always interesting to visit these project sales, the atmosphere is buzzing!

Never give up: Sorry, this should have been in the Bryggen and Artillerivej Syd thread but it was so far down I didn´t notice it (one of the minuses with too many separate threads)
Welcome to move if you know how anyone.
Done !

The row houses at Islands Brygge Syd are advancing very quickly. Amazing how fast buidings come up when they have been paid for.

The last balconies have been set up on Kajkanten and people are moving in. Looks better than I had expected.

Nice shots! I've got some too. Not near the same quality, and not as blessed with the good weather, but they show some extra details. Well, here goes.

The parking situation is quite convoluted at Bryggen. There were cars parked everywhere. In the background we see Kajkanten, and "never give up" is not the only one who expected less, but got more.

Lets take a closer look at those balconies.

Here we see a drain pipe - it's quality stuff, with a shiny finish.

Look! The drain pipes match the balconies, looks like the same material.

Kajkanten has a "back side" with no balconies at all.

Moving on to the new road behind A-huset. It looks good, and it will free up some space for development.

We move on to Havnevigen. It's NCC's very popular new development that will be a mix of water, row houses, and green stuff. An unbeatable combination for those with deep pockets. It's not exactly cheap, and yet some claim that it is... Depends how you look at it.

There is an elevated platform, that provides a good overview of the site.

In the background you see the now familiar Kajkanten. This area is once again buzzing with construction activity!

It's bryggen's row club new clubhouse - there's a big hoo-haa here på brygge about whether the new planned cylcle path goes in front of the new club house, which would improve the access to the water edge but would probably be a pain in the butt for the rowers who have to cross the path to get from the water to the club house see

Like the idea of a public path along the water, but maybe an extra bike path on the other side of the club houses would be a good idea.

The recently re-established developer Walls launched a project with 160 apartments and row houses at the socalled T-site at Islands Brygge.

The row houses in Islands Brygge Syd are progressing rapidly, here seen, on the left, from Bella Sky´s restaurant, along with some of the other harbour developments.

When looking at your picture I can't help but noticing the but ugly TDC tower in the background, I would have loved to see a broadcast tower like the ones our neighbours in Berlin and Hamburg has but the time and age that such towers were build is sadly gone unless you have some oil money.

Portus terrace houses on Islands Byrgge Syd are now for sale.
They look a bit boring/suburban IMO, in spite of being designed by Architema. Why don´t they give Lene Tranberg a chance?

...and futher down the road the NCC terrace houses. I hope the new owners are aware that 3 round high-rise housing blocks are planned in their back gardens.

Have you seen that the dwellers on Havnholmen are protesting about the Enghave Brygge development taking their view!! Fortunately the kommune has ignored them, referring to the approved rammeplan.

Glad the municipality turned them down. Far to many nay-sayers in this city.

Thanks for posting Ngu, impressing speed for the row houses.

Yeah but real estate agents will soon have some nice houses for them at the former Henriksholm estate in Vedbæk if they don't like their views blocked.
