It is just around the corner from where I live. It is where there is trashy used car dealership, that is just closed down recently (but have been there as long as I remember).

I'm not sure if I like the design of the infill.

I'm just switching to Danish, to better express my feelings:

Nope, but someone has to make the sacrifices -----
I like the building is used to the maximum and has same height as the old ones, and think the little wall's purpose is exactly to shield the ground floor a little bit

Delvist enig.

A nice view at Carls Jacobsensvej.
When arriving from Sjælør Station, the housing Of DEAS looking quite good in the curve.

Same building, now seen from the station area. Please note shops at ground floor.

The second big construction in front of the station.

The Følager construction on the other side of the tracks.

SOL OVER VALBY
Update at Valby Makinfabrik area owned by DFE.
An old post from 2013.

Exactly constructed for one century ago. Please let this 'building' survive.

Today the old factory is certainly saved.

Neighbors on both sides. One is finished, and one is ongoing.

Again the well done and now completed DEAS house with shops at ground floor.

In the yard.

Toward Gl. Køge Landevej, and the Følager construction a little west of the station

Well according to kbhkort.kk.dk its not part of Valby, but Vesterbro / Vesterbro-Kongens Enghave.
(Administrative grænser - Bydele)

The borders between the two, goes at Gl. Carlsberg Vej.

Great pictures all the same. So looking forward for that bike path along the railroad to open.

Really..that's new to me.
But we can agree that Carlsberg location normally is considered as Valby - or at least a part of it .

I would consider the Carslberg site as part of Vesterbro, with its main intrances on the Vesterbro side. Carlsberg has never been part of 'Valby life' The area with the villas is another thing, so I think the formal/geograhical and mental border in this case is the same

The Carlsberg area used to straddle the border between Valby and Vesterbro until the politicians moved the official boundry a few years ago but that it is located where the four very diffent neighbourhoods Vesterbro, Frederiksberg, Valby and Kongens Enghave meet will of course remain just one of the great things about it. But as far as I remember, the winning entry in the By Carlsberg Brewhouse Project calles its roof garden Valby Terrace, so I guess Carlsberg their not quite ready to give up its Valby associations yet.

Valby Langgade 110
Site clearing for a new infill building with only 12 apartments, 10 sold. See post 101.

The new Frederiksberg elder care 'Akaciegården' constructed on a demolished one at Skellet. The Valby district is at the end of the road and on my side.

On the corner of Valby Kirkevej and gammel jernbanevej just around the corner from Valby Langgade and Carlsberg, developers want to build apartments in a natural extension of existing 6 storey buildings. Local Nimbys who live in expensive nearby villas are infuriated (no surprise there). There is a special place in hell for Nimbys

What a great project! Here is what it is going to lok like:

Of all the dumb nimbys out there, these are some of the more rediculous:

Quote:
»Det er ikke i orden bare at bygge en stak nye lejligheder, tjene kassen på det, og så rykke videre. Det er ikke godt nok,« siger Karl Rossel, der bor i nummer 10.
Eeehm...it's called market economy and has been involved in most of the development of the Copenhagen that we know and love? And I have a hard time believing that anyone who can afford to live in one of the houses on that street is REALLY opposed to market economy. For instance, judging from Linkedin (unmless it's someone with the same name), one of the three complaining neighbours that are quoted in the article, Klaus Boyer, happens to be a project Development manager at the property company Kaae Group. And I'm not sure if we will get a lot built in the years to come if developers are not allowed to make a profit and noone will be allowed to build anything unless they are going to live in it themselves.

Quote:
Der er ikke mange villaer tilbage i Valby, og de der er, har et prisniveau, der udelukker mange.

»Der er jo sindsyg rift om husene. Der er masser af lejligheder til salg, men huse er der ikke mange af,« siger Karl Rossel.

Think I remember a similar situations. Think tinypic has been block by ssc for some reason.
Maybe try another service. There are quite a few around.
