Welcome to the Architects section!
Welcome to the Architects section! In here, you can discuss the projects, visions, influences, and life of any and all architects. Each architect or architectural firm may be discussed in this section, in their own respective thread.
Architects and architectural firms may have their own threads for discussion about their projects, visions, inspirations, and so on. Threads dedicated to architects or architectural firms should simply be named for the person or firm. When showcasing a project or building by an architect in a thread dedicated to the architect, please follow the following format: Building name, City (including state and province if warranted) & Country (Completion year) Example: Empire State Building, New York, NY, USA (1931) [picture below] Please utilize tags for threads dedicated to architects, for easy searching. Tags included should at least include the architect’s or architectural firm’s full name, and then the last name of the individual architect, or the name of each entity of a firm. If a firm’s full name contains a comma, remove the comma when providing the full name, as the comma would delineate a separate tag. The architect’s main architectural style may be added, but is not necessarily needed. Example: frank lloyd wright, wright Example: skidmore ownings & merrill, skidmore, owings, merrill Example: john lautner, lautner, modernism |
