It has a been a particular interesting day for the western suburbs of Copenhagen today (read Holmene).

This project is more back to normal stuff..

Greve is on a roll.

Logicenter builds a 14.900 sqm warehouse and offices for Bring.

The area around Friheden station is among the most depressing I can think of in Greater Copenhagen. They want to get rid of the modernistic building from 1973 that contains Netto and Wong's grill. They want to replace it with a 20 story building!

It suggests two things to me. We are now so far along in the cycle that projects like these in poor areas might actually get built. Of course we might have a recession before this gets approved and finds an investor. More importantly we clearly see a change from just ten years ago in how some municipalities are becoming less afraid of heights.
