I think people have to accept that we aren't getting a screen on top here, it's been nearly a decade.

You'd think, but remember there are 2 LED screens at the base of Rotunda, on the Waterstones building, and the corner on top of Big Top.. So I don't think we'll be seeing anything on Rotunda soon. I think that would have been enough to make a move.

Is there actually a valid reason for not have a screen up there, like is it because it's a listed building? Or the effect on surrounding areas?
The top of 103 CR is going to look ace! I love the 11 Brindleyplace crown. |

Although being a listed building would be considered, they already had a permission for the screen. They just didn't complete it.

Another new photo. This time from the Discovery Terrace at the LoB (with Ladywood House). Oh and Bullring banner!

There must be so little storage space in the tiny apartments that people are storing bits and pieces behind their curtains making it look rather messy looking from the outside in...

That's always been to my annoyance. Mirrored glass would've been much better on this.

I've warmed to it, slightly. I quite liked the reno, at least it wasn't a dramatic change like at 5 Ways.

Can you see it from ground level also?
Can't find any info online about it. Most people are still posing for photos with the original 2003 bull below it!

I think it first appeared when the Rotunda was redeveloped, there were also some on top of the Fort Dunlop building. (That was redeveloped by the same company as the Rotunda)

I'm amazed one of the commercial TV companies like ITV or Channel 4 haven't sponsored a screen at the top of the Rotunda to advertise programmes and as a general advertising screen.

Someone said in another thread that the Bullring banner has gone.
Saw this view from the bus stop on Albert Street with Travelodge to the left. Raining, then I think it was snowing (before I got on the bus). ![]()
