An older photo, but it shows a lot of the construction going on in Manhattan.

Can any NYers educate me:
AIUI each of these megatalls on Billionaires Row requires the developer to purchase surrounding air rights in order to build tall, right? (Surrounding air rights because presumably you wouldn't want a tenant who bought a $100m condo to have the view later obstructed by another megatall going up.)

So has the 'volume' of air along Billionaire's Row now all been bought up? Or is there enough volume so that other towers might come online. I'm trying to get a sense of how many more megatalls can fit on 57th St, and how tall they can go?

I think it's a matter of time before one or two of these Billionaire pricks start suing because someone has built a new supertall further north and "ruined" their view of the park.
