The Oriental Building located at the Jalan Melaka-Jalan Tun Perak junction. I think this is the only building still worth looking at.

Previously the High Commissioner of India is located in this building

Been inside the Bok House once. As far as I can recall, the main entrance into the House, there are statues on both sides of the hall way, and staircase on both side, at the end of the hall way.

Wonder if anybody has the photo of the house opposite Bok House? This mansion has long been demolished and the now stands Public Bank headquarters.

Hey that's Toong Fong bus company. Although I have never sat in that particular era bus but I remember back in the 90s most of the Toong Fong buses were at in front of Mydin (then Metrojaya) before the rise of Intrakota Consolidated. Good old days.

The shop with the signboard "Yee Heong Yuen" is now KFC.
Any idea what type of shop is "Yee Heong Yuen"? Another coffee shop/kopitiam? A brothel? .........

I think "Yee Heong Yuen" is either a coffee shop or a confectionery.

Take a closer look at both sides of the signboard. They have some Chinese writings on it.

Even bus tickets is a collectors item. Some people collects bus tickets as a hobby back then.

Also tickets were printed in hard paper and colourful too.

These days.... err.....

Back then, buses of different bus companies plying different routes were in different colours. One would know which bus that passes by will go. Now, have to really look at the numbers which route the bus is plying.

Talking about scooters, the brand that comes to mind is Piaggio's Vespa.

It seems that Lambretta has been totally forgotten.

Those who owns one of them these days, would be a treasure, especially with the dual saddle seat like this one..
