Dat is ook meteen een groot minpunt aan dit forum, zolang er in Nederland geen steden als NY of HK zijn interesseert het een buitenlander geen reet. Hoe mooi de steden hier ook verder zijn
Total bullshit. 2 out of 3 of the previous reactions were from non Dutch.
And even if it were true that only Dutch respond to this topic...so what?
The pics are still amazing. Keep m coming guys!

I think most visitors here are Dutch indeed but as already said: maybe for them a thread like this is even more interesting. At least I really like to search the web for pics of the country I was born and raised.

'Panorama Mesdag' (1881), The Hague, South Holland

image hosted on flickr

From: http://www.panorama-mesdag.nl/# "Panorama Mesdag is a cylindrical painting, more than 14 meters high and 120 meters in circumference. The vista of the sea, the dunes and Scheveningen village was painted by one of the most famous painters of the Hague School, Hendrik Willem Mesdag. It is the oldest 19th century panorama in the world in its original site, and a unique cultural heritage."
