Likas Boulevard and Jesselton Tx2 share a common denominator - same China construction company

Kinandukan Hill, Papar

From KK, Kinandukan Hill sits barely just on the horizon of Tg. Aru. It is one of the most southern location in which the KK skyline can be seen.

The daily rains have cleared the air, so its easier to make out the talls of KK.

It will be fun guessing/identifying the talls seen in the following.

See ITCC towards the left?

This is the easiest to distinguish.

In case you were wondering which is the tallest in the CBD.

How could one miss Mt. Kinabalu from up there?

Nearby Benoni Commercial Centre.

Kuala Penyu town was barely visible on the other side.

Most of the new projects in KK are constructed by China contractors nowadays. Expecting them to be completed in a fast pace.

Coral Bay, K Avenue, Bay Suites, Triconic Tower, The Aru, KKCC, Jesselton Twin Towers, Likas Boulevard, The Crown

Bay Suites is expected to build by CSCEC

Do you have any latest info about KKCC? Kind of anticipating that project, I heard Pullman will occupy its 5-Star Hotel Building, how about the rest?

http://http://www.dailyexpress.com.m...ct-to-proceed/

On July 4, last year, Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal had said the State Government would proceed with the TAED project, as it would create many employment opportunities for the people.

Saying that the State was now under the rule of a new government, he did not want to rush through the project without obtaining public feedback.

“No development will be carried out at the expense of the people. As such, the government will undertake an in-depth study to determine if the project should be scaled down or if other steps should be taken,” he said during the State Legislative Assembly sitting. Mohd Shafie said the State Government has so far spent about RM60 million on the project which would only continue after a review is undertaken.

TAED will proceed after all.....

I say go full scale, but done in gradual phases
If all in one go, there will be concern for 'indigestion'

New McDonalds in Sabah

“We are currently in the midst of constructing three new outlets in Semporna, Keningau and Likas Bay, all of which we hope to complete by this year,”

I was thinking about Pacificity too, or area around there. Many of the KK MacDonalds' are situated along that stretch of the road from city center up to UMS and to Indah Permai. Hopefully their next few branches in the pipeline will be located at Luyang, Inanam and Putatan at least.
