Don’t put any stock in that. There won’t be a real rendering until there is hotel deal in place.

Just a place holder concept, nothing real at this point. They will look to sign another user for that property.

Friend posted this photo on Instagram. Boy does our skyline look great from Patterson Park.

All we need is a couple 600 footers to stand out among the rest.

What a great photo! Thank your friend for it. It sure does show an impressive continuous skyline.

While the Federal Hill view is Baltimore's money shot, it does a bad job of capturing the breadth of the entire skyline.

The Patterson Park vantage point surprises people a lot of people on how big Baltimore's skyline actually is become

I had to do a double take because I didn't initially realize it was Baltimore.

i think we'd all like 2-3 of those 600-footers, but for now, I'll just take one. Later on, If the demand's there, then sure, let's build the other 1-2....

EDIT: by September 2022, it should be interesting to see what MCB Real Estate/InterPark Holdings has up their sleeves at 300 East Pratt. From this union, I could see you easily getting you're wish...

I think 300 E Pratt is our only shot at 600ft in the next decade or so unless something changes drastically. The proposal from a few years back was over 600ft.

It looks like 414 Phase II will probably be in the 550 ft range. The BCCC redevelopment is around 515 ft, and I don't see another site getting something that tall anytime soon. I think eventually the old Tower Building lot could be a new tallest, or the lot two blocks north of City Hall that is right next to 83.

everytime I'm driving down Baltimore Street, it bewilders me that the Tower Building site hasn't been developed yet. It's a site that would definitely do wonders for the eastern side of our CBD...

I'm still optimistic. I know things have changed now, but the original 414 Light Street proposal years ago was over 700 feet!

I've heard from time to time rumors that the old Tower Building site is being held in reserve for a new courthouse building. We could certainly use one, though I can't verify the rumor.

No surprise to anyone that two of the chief challenges of that site are proximity to The Block and competition from new builds closer to the water or in Locust Point.

.....and would've looked ridiculously out of place beyond measure. This tower we have there now at 414 Light has character, compliments the Inner Harbor and the water, and looks amazing on our skyline. Phase 2 will just enhance all that greatness.

right, right......glad you mentioned that. I keep forgetting that the start of The Block is the very next block east of this site.

looks like this building is off to a great start. Should do wonders for developers lookin' to build future luxury residences here in Baltimore....

So far, half of the units, about 141, have been leased, according to the developers with The Bozzuto Group and Harbor East Management Group...

A handful of the building’s 33 condominiums also have sold, according to Monument Sotheby’s International Realty, which is marketing those units.
