But you do not need to write in Capital letters to put your point across. The Kenyan forum here has a culture of tolerance and respect, and people do not shout or scream at others.Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I didn't know using capital letters means someone is shouting but you are right everyone is entitled to their own opinion

who needs skyscrapers? for what?

given your previous comments, it seems to me that you want to see skyscrapers being built in kenya for the aesthetics of it instead of necessity and practicality.

I was trying to suggest that the upcoming buildings should be more iconic as most of us here are fans of good-looking structures. It would have been great if we had skyscrapers coming up in Kenya but they should be mainly be built if it's necessary as you said.

My dear brother or sister

Next time try looking at the menu on the right-hand side after you have clicked on the image you have uploaded. If not try clicking what you have uploaded.

You will have options such as

"Link to share"

"Embed this"

"Details"

Click on the "Embed this" once the drop menu drops. Click on the "forum" link copy and paste in your post.

That way it will just show in you post right here in the forums

Going by the upper floor plans, we should expect a curved glass building which looks like the national shield when viewed from above. (if it ever gets built that is.)

A 60-storey skyscraper for Nairobi. Nairobi has been building too small, or not too big enough.

Men....wen will you ever learn to stick to the topic
at hand. We are talking of the proposed Government Offices Tower and that does not mean that we are not aware of the problems facing Kenyans or the starving Turkanas. If you wana talk about those issues, start a new thread please. Am fed up of people always bringing negative issues not related to a problem we are discussing in a thread!

This is not a wise project to implement in a town so prone to earthquakes like Nairobi.

Tokyo is more prone to earthquakes than Nairobi, yet it is building +600m towers.

Other more earthquake-prone cities like Taipei and Los Angeles have tall skyscrapers.
