Either in the CBD or in upperhill around valley rd but on ngong st if that is a close reference??

The building was designed by Battle McCarthy a very known british architectural company for the Lion Kenya Insurance LTD around 1999 but was shelved due to funding. But it recently popped up last month on a blog and they were talking about it and made me realize that the project has come back to life....

If only someone would call their offices or visit to find out if the building will built would be a very awesome.

There are two towers going up in UpperHill by Fusion Capital investments...

Project Snowdrop is the construction of a 12 story tower in upperhill i think around ngong avenue??

Project Panorama is the construction of a 10 story building next to the japanese embassy

both projects have already started and the foundations are 40% to 50% complete

The reason i'm writing this information here is because the towers are less than 15 stories

Stima Mall U/C Parklands, Nairobi

Quote:
The Ground breaking for this project was done on the 3rd of September, 2012. The project which is being built at the corner plot will have two levels of basement parking, three levels of shopping stalls and four levels of office space. Currently the members have contributed Kshs 176m. Towards the project and they still have another two years to contribute.
The construction of Stima Mall has already started and the progress is very impressive. We wish to thank all members who have been contributing towards the project and request those who have not been making the monthly deductions to consider resuming their contributions.
Upon completion of the project, the projected income to Stima Investment Society will be over 20 million shillings which will also be distributable income to members. This will enhance the income for the Society and greatly improve the stable income. The completion date for the development will be September 2013 but the members’ contribution will be done up to May 2014. This would mean the building will be completed before members could complete the contribution. The art of value addition and wealth creation will be done in this project where members will get a complete building before the final contributions are made.

Stima Investment wishes to thank all members for their continued support in ensuring the successful conclusion of this project which will guarantee the Society a constant income of approximately Kshs 20m per year.

Rooftop View of nairobi: Our ninth floor is ideal for a rooftop bar, restaurant or cafe. With great views of the surrounding areas, we aimed to create a space that can be used by all for those much-needed breaks away from all the corporate stress and meetings.

Floor to Ceiling Windows: we have designed all our units with floor to ceiling glass, thus securing optimal natural light absorption into our building.
High Speed Elevators Efficiency has always been a priority when designing The Westwood, and the same can be confirmed with our elevator system.
Our back-up generator system: we understand your needs for constant uninterrupted electricity 24 hours a day, and we have put in place a reliable back up

Difference between govt projects and private Co. projects.CBK parking silo cost-4B,will prob take ten years to complete at about 10B and downscaled renders.

Britam 30 story building with a 10 story parking silo(prob bigger than this) at total cost of 4.2B.Diferrence of 200M gives us a 30 story massive building.Corruption in Kenya is beyond murder.

Or is there something I'm missing?
