The price of the demolition store's (wrecker) cheapest estimate was at least 30,000 dollars.
I decide to sell iron [steel] scrap etc. before demolishing
Iron scrap ikg ..27yen..30cents
copper pipe etc 640yen/kg..$6
Aluminium ,stainless 140yen /kg.. $1.5
I brought irons to two Chinese iron Junk yards more than twenty times by my K track. and i got at least $100 each times.
there are still more and more in 2nd and roof top

as for plan, this old storage will be in December
In japan, there are many ugly old house.
It can not demolish it because fixed assets tax(real estate tax)
goes up more than a vacant lot

baker shop moved out three years ago
and there are still old barber shop.
both are there more than 40 years because of cheap
there is no contract because of trust at that time
old guy is still running of it..
I am worry about Collapse of the building because of snow
I told him such apprehension..
he agree with that. However, he has business rights.
in the fact he did not pay rental fee about two years
I said you do not need to pay it. and Furthermore, some compensation may be necessary

as for my parents, they move to another old house of them for several months

P.s.
there is a gas station Esso next to my house
it has already stopped business ten years ago.
so this combini will be built in former gas station and my house will be parking lots
this combini in former gas station needs a some parking and the corner and side road where my house faces

as for Iron junk yards by a Chinese owner, there are many Chinese working there.
I thought it is a good business though it need big machinery and Weight measure for track

there are many people who sell the irons etc such like me.
they sold it to big company with many profits by market price.
A supplier does not break off. a buyer buy them in market price any time
as for sedori, people buys a things in market price such like yahoo auction. however It is difficult to buy in cheap goods to sell in market.it must look for that . it is not stable
people does not know disused article makes money. the other day 、my mother tried to throw away the broken mixer in trash valuables day.
I took a motor out from mixcer. they pay 300 yen in chinese junk yard.

For several years, I was troubled with the disposal of the large refrigeration showcase

It is said that a waste article person take it out for 3,000 yen. of course I must pay.
there might be FLUOROCARBON GAS in that. my friend come and cut copper pipe. and FLUOROCARBON GAS came out a little bit,
i told ”leave" it must be not good for health. he said no problem. however he said it is not good for environment of earth.
and i took out glass door of show case and brought it to the chinese. they pay me 4500yen..

in my vicinity, there are recycle shop where a Peruvian is running of .
after I decided to quit store, I was interested in the recycle shop. i asked him how to do.
then me and a Peruvian went to buy waste article in rural place in kofu for my experience.
as my fortunate, after visiting many house, we found a big farm house, a farmer conducted us to clean up storage house take out anything you want. old gas stove, rice maker bland coffee cup bicycles, car tires..... a farmer said it is free, however we payed 1000
yen to him
we carry full stuff in 2tn track. anyway we started at 9 am came back 11:30 am.
he started dismantling some electric product .Brass、integrated circuit etc
then we brought them to a Chinese buyer. he give us $300. a Peruvian sold many stuff in yahoo auction..
anyway , I thought it is a good business. however it is difficult to look for goods for selling and it is not stable.
as for general store, there is discount wholesaler. it is stable for stocking. and it is difficult to sell because of competition.

Those new houses look really nice but they seem very westernized with perhaps just one traditional Japanese style room. Is this common in Japan for new houses, is there a trend towards more western style homes? Also, are they starting to insulate houses better and include ducted heating/air con? I've heard that most Japanese houses are poorly insulated and rely only on a kotatsu for heating, which I'd find very uncomfortable during such cold winters.

If ever I'll visit Yamanashi, I put in contact with you
we rebuild new one in another place
those model house are not faked. it is a just model house. person who want to build new house does not know the house maker's characteristic , price /m2, what material they use, it looks cheap or not, ,,,etc.
if we want to similar house, it can order to build same one
as for beginning of plan to make a house , it is chance for a house maker to be picked as one of them. so it is not faked. they also introduce many house to check out that were already built in kofu by them. we can ask about them and watch and check out a house.

they rebuilt every 5 years.
If you buy a car , you would check car out at many dealers .
we check method, their house concept , free style architect
and it mekes competition between house makers . then And we request a design to a registered architect. .

Is this common in Japan for new houses, is there a trend towards more western style homes? Also, are they starting to insulate houses better and include ducted heating/air con? I've heard that most Japanese houses are poorly insulated and rely only on a kotatsu for heating, which I'd find very uncomfortable during such cold winters.
yes it is. however if you go to rural , you can see modern Japanese type house
pure Japanese style house is so expensive because of using expensive wood

it is not western type of house. it is modern type
Air con is not western type

>most Japanese houses are poorly insulated and rely only on a kotatsu for heating
are you talking about before 60's houses?

traditional heating is Irori on floor
Kotatu is on Tatami's room
