Sorry to burst the bubble but there is no way this guys can build a45 storey building and a 30 storey one with only 3B.not unless the project cost is wrong..i dont expect it to happen.look at what other buildings cost and you will see that the pic is grim.they can barely put up the shorter tower with that amount

Don't worry about the cost.It is more than possible. One would say it is not possible to build the Delta Corner twin towers with 1.9b or FCB Tower 25 floors with 1.3b but it is the case.People doubted when it was said that Golf Course Hotel would be built with Shs 200m.

I think total plinth area should guide you not no. of floors, from what SE9 posted,

(3,781,621,000÷70,000=54,023.157
thats the cost per square metre. its makes sense. But it also appears the towers will be slender coz that floor space is not too big. Also this costs are normally independent of land.)

NEMA charges developers a percentage of project cost. It is in the interest of the developer to under quote and pay less...

I heard the president say that it should be changed and people should pay for the services offered and not a percentage of the cost

You are right. A private developer petitioned him during an investor conference or something...

Kidero will approve, I remember someone with the Nairobi Governor title who talked about twin towers in UpperHill. So there'll be no problems at city hall.

I am just saying it will take some time maybe another month or two before the groundbreaking but it depends on the timetable the developers have

I saw a fence being erected at the plot on Lower Hill Road, near Haile sellasie Av. Could it be this plot?

It is just next to Rahimtulla on Upper Hill Road.It has a sign board inside the compound written 'This property belongs to Jabavu Village Limited and is not for sale'.It also has a stone wall fence around it but you can see through the gate
