If the building is to be built close to the NSSF,then that could not be Upper hill.I think i like the location. The problem is that there a number of buildings at a 'proposed' stage of which we are not sure which ones will really materialize. No major building has actually broken ground this year ,so far.

Proposals are a good sign. I would think at least half the proposed towers will eventually materialize. But when that will happen is anyone's guess. Majority of towers are being built with private cash so there could be delays in structuring the financing. A 30 floor tower must be quite expensive.

Okay here is the location of Akili. It's in front of Jabavu i labelled it (J.B)

The question marks are the stalled site which brian was talking about.

One word; Ugly
I like however the fact that it's a 30 floor building.

Not sure Brian. That is why I said just throwing mud on the wall. They are Akili renders but not sure if they are rejects or new ones. The source site lists Richard Keep Architects as their clients here

These comments of it is ugly but height is good remind me why we have major projects but we still oppose them for the most flimsy of excuses.People should support LAPSSET,SGR,Southern Bypass,Langata Rd in totality because the other smaller issues are non issues really

These integrated parking silos ruin the aesthetic of towers in Nairobi.

Granted it isn't the fault of the developers/architects/engineers, they have to include them by necessity.

All parking spaces should be taken underground.

Here's the one i meant to post.

Three possible sites.

Only one possible site. The one next to the NSSF annex. The top site is part of the free masonry temple, second is a nursery school.

Even the view of the renders relative to NSSF is a giveaway as to exactly where it will be built.
