I’ve asked this question a thousand times before. We have a govt. in lala land. They should be creating incentives to invest in dry lands south of Nairobi and leave all arable land for food production.

In the future, the semi arid areas will have to turn into agricultural use.The potential is huge.
The population of Nairobi is set to double by 2030.Let the city grow.

Well, there is a lot of semi arid land in Kenya.Only a third of Kenya is productive. The future will see the arid sections irrigated,.... and that is an opportunity for Kenya.

Tilisi have not yet started to sell residential plots. These will be launched towards the end of the year, starting from 1/8th and 1/4 acres.

Currently the Logistics Park is on sale and construction of the infrastructure is ongoing as per their website.

The latest animation is as follows - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=nUWmO9Qimm4

What about arable land?! At this rate all the arable land will be converted to cities and the only land left will be the arid and semi-arid regions! We will be starving in our beautiful cities lol!

Limuru-based Tilisi cuts size of industrial plots for uptake

...Co-chief executive Kavit Shah said 49 acres had since been sold to Africa Logistics Properties, 2.5 acres went to incoming Chinese furniture maker-investor Jiayuan Investment, Prosell Limited, two acres to an outdoor signage maker while a 3-acre plot has been sold to an unnamed local retailer...

Mr Shah reported the industrial park had since undergone a Sh700 million infrastructure development with Sh64 million dedicated to flood protection.
