Hey! You aren't doing things much better either!

Stop ruining this thread, will you?

This thread is about Santiago's Metro's Line 4.

It's not another stupid thread about different races.

Correction #1 if you insist: Chile together with Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica and Southern Brazil are the areas in Latin America with the most European population.
Take these facts from somebody who knows this, we'll stop here with that racial thing, ok?

Correction #2: Santiago still has the most modern underground system in Latin America (even when it comes to the wagons).

Correction #3: Chile is not a small country geographically speaking, it is 756.950 km² big. Perhaps it is still a developing country but many experts consider it to be now instead a NIC (newly industrialised country).

Now just stop derailing this thread, stop it will you and return to the main theme which is Line 4.

My dear chileno,

I am here talkingof what Ive seen so far.

I travel on business to all of south america and also to Mexico.

I personally travelled the line 4 train line in santiago, and was impressed , for it is much different from the other chilean subway lines(some how outdated)
line 4 is a better line and stations along with rolling stock, is much more advanced .

now I have to be fair here, I ve seen the mexico city's subway system, its totally renovated and has changed all of its rolling stock with teh most advanced trains I ve seen around.Sure you will defend whats yours, but why not go to the mexican subway threads in the mexican forums , and see for yourself .mexican Subway trains look much better EVEN better than my countries subways(USA)

Now last but not least: I havent said anything about anyones race, Thats mr objective2k6 comment. I only responded to his thread and clarified a litlle (he seems a little ignorant about, where chile was, and what type of people live there.

Ive been al over south america, and believe chile is not as European as you state, (CHILE IS a homogeneously MIXED COUNTRY, much like Mexico is) ,NOW URUGUAY, ARGENTINA, AND SOUTHERN BRAZIL, DO HAVE A MAJORITY OF ITS POPULATION OF WHITE , EUROPEAN STOCK.Again, what is that "EUROPEAN WHITENESS"obsession???? I honestly think that mexicans, chileans or any other latin americans are just as smart and industrious as any one else, be it Asian, White or whatever!

Neither do I believe that chile is an industrial nation nor a NIC , however, there are many small and medium size industries emerging over there, but nothing as large scale, like Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, etc, so the term NIC is out of contest here.

Please dont be upset, I just tell you what, I have seen( I am an International trade Agent , and do travel a lot, and seen a lot of latin america. Good day

That's the cleanest, most modern subway system I've seen....very 'Matrix' like. I can imagime Neo doing battle with Agent Smith there.

I love it. I saw a programme on it on the Science Channel, about those subway commercials that you can always see no matter how fast you go!

Explanation

Line 4 (blue) has a futuristic design perhaps because it is the newest one, but older lines are being redesigned into the same style.
I read a post someone did not like the trains. That is due to pictures showed the older light blue square-front trains built in the 1970s and 1980s. As you may realize there are three train models: the oldest ones, those resembling the trains that serve Meteor Line in Paris, and those serving Line 4 (red front and gray painted).

Greetings
