Ahhhh, so that's why they haven't started work on Arena Central. It's a rare breeding habitat for cranes and other specimens.

That photo brings to mind the old question of what came first, the chicken or the egg?

I saw a tall orange crane today in Wombourne - the dormitory town in South Staffs near Wolverhampton. Expect not such big things there.

No you're quite right, though it is yellow rather then orange. They're just building some new apartments on the site of the old library. Nothing impressive, a couple of storeys high at the most.

i think we have to stick to birmingham and leave dudley and wolverhampton to their own crane count....

so we just need to find the projects being worked on in digbeth and JQ
