Some great photos by all.

Had a trip to Birmingham the other day, and took some photos of some of the mainly older building that caught my eye, on my breif visit. Need a lot longer as so many interesting building not just in the centre. (lost the light)
The interesting thing looking for someware to post some of them is how you have got several of the same buildings. Never realised the jewellery quarter was so big, or as far from centre when it came to walking back.
Will post some soon as sort my photo library out as getting a bit jumbled, too many cities and projects.

I tried to get some Eerie empty street photos on New Years day, didn't quite work as there loads of people around.. And even worse, the battery on my camera went .... Grrr!

But why would Town be empty on Jan 1st???

Time was it would be full due to the January Sales!

i got home last night at 5, went straight to bed. im not sure people would be thinking of getting up early for the sales, being out on the town etc lol

Cool pics, I had the same idea and was all set to go out on xmas day, I could see town was dead......but I had not charged my camera and the thing was dead, by the time I'd got some juice the light had gone oh well maybe next year

I only just saw this building the other day, not sure if anyone has seen it before, but i really like it.



The other is wesleyan, always love this building.

OH i love the Weslyan. Ii remember it being built from St.Andrews as a kid. Back then it really stood out on the Skyline!
