Thanks Nacho, the church is on top of a steep hill, so walking past it gives you a good angle, also I was on my knees for the extra height lol.

Nice pics Charlie.

This is such an underrated and ignored building and the one next to it. Think if it had a spraywash it would get a few more glances.
Reminds me of MOD in Whitehall.

I had much the same thought. Half expecting to see the Cenotaph to one side or the other in shot.

Needs a bit of a spruce up, yeah.

Thanks for the pics feltip. Yeah this building is beginning to look alright - I've walked past it a couple of times, but that was a while ago - they seem to be taking a long time!

Btw - the lighting scheme for St Chad's Square is stunning

Some good photos, like the church in the sq, very London like to me.

What is the first building on the right, I took a photo the other week of that as its quite impresive, it looks as if it was an 80's job. Parked in the jewelry quater and walke down Ludgate there to the centre some excellent buildings about.

That footbridge is poor disappearing into the corner of the building, bit weird layout and grim.

for Photos

That's a good angle but Albany House just clobbers it. It's The Other Brown Thing, a companion piece to the original Brown Thing on Station St.

The contrast between old, oldish and new is stunning.
