What do you know about the buses traded by these companies?
Cefin, being an Iveco dealer, would probably offer some Irisbus Citelis buses. We have 150 of these in the trolleybus version in Bucharest as I'm sure you know.

Evobus will probably offer Mercedes Citaros.

As for Magyar Jarmutechnikai I don't have the slightest idea.

Mi-a placut asta:
Quote:
Evobus România a livrat autobuze pentru transportul de pasageri pe aeroportul din Timişoara dar şi pentru Unitatea Militară 02301.
Sa-nteleg ca cele 1.000 de Citaro I si II pt. RATB nu se pun?

If it is the 12m long category, then probably this is the bus offered by Magyar Járműtechnikai Zrt., the L23-D01 type:

This bus was made for Kielce, Poland.

Does Magyar Járműtechnikai have anything to do with the former Ikarus?

No, it is a company located in Debrecen, based on a former machine manufacture. I haven't heared much about them yet, but I've found that they've delivered 52 double-deckers for Istanbul. However they started producing buses a few years ago.

This may explain it … “Probe traseu”

NEOPLAN Roadshow
In March 2008, four NEOPLAN buses (Starliner, Cityliner, Tourliner and Trendliner) will drive through Eastern Europe. This roadshow will be stopping in Poland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Moldavia, Romania and Bulgaria. This will give customers and the trade press alike an opportunity familiarise themselves with these vehicles – also by taking test drives!
http://www.neoplan.de/neoplan/en/tra...n_homepage.jsp

However, the one in the pic is a trolley not a bus

I was heading back to Romania on Tuesday and saw 4-5 Iribus Buses with with RATB stickers heading for Romania, on the Budapest-Szeged highway. I wonder why they didn't send them by train.

Buses?! RATB didn't order any Irisbus buses and I don't see how they could be coming to Romania from Hungary when they're assembled at Arad. Also, they must have been buses like you say, because if they we're trolleybuses what were they doing on the motorway where there are no wires?

I have no idea, really, but maybe they're for testing in Bucharest, though it doesn't make much sense since RATB should know the Citelis all too well already.

Btw, I know Suceava has some Citelis buses that have Bucharest license plates. If it weren't for the RATB stickers I'd have said they're for Suceava.

Now they all have Bucharest license plates.

And I see they have better seats than ours.

Irisbus owned Ikarus 5 years ago,and I think it,while got rid f the trademark, still own the factory at Székesfehérvár. Maybe they're from there.

They look kinda small. Are they spacious enough for the needs of Piatra Neamt?
