Any chance of the Novotel being demolished and replaced with a small park :/

One Chamberlain Square
Two Chamberlain Square
One Snowhill
Two

The Colmore Building
Taken from HSBC, with Alpha to the left and HMRC behind.

Just to name a few.. Business is booming in our City.

One from my trip into the city centre today. There'll be more to come once I've done all the post production malarkey.

two of me faves in that shot - no surprises - The Rotunda & Colmore Gate.

I reckon Centre City & Bank Towers are related!

I wish something decent would happen to Ladywood House - it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Maybe the redevelopment of the old Woolies building might act as a catalyst.

Surely this must be a prime location - I know a hotel was planned.

I would suggest City Centre House is the one that needs demolishing urgently. It always ruins the view from the library. It makes Ladywood House look like a thing of beauty.

Birmingham Skyline | Picture Thread | Part 3

Iím not suggesting that it should be demolished. A decent refurb would do.

As regards Centre City - I quite like it, (each to their own) but admit it definitely needs a good scrub - a few years back it had some decent lighting, but sadly that seems to have disappeared.

Unless Iím getting confused! As we have City Centre House on Union Street and Centre City Tower on Hill Street - if the former I couldnít agree more!

I do wonder sometimes why owners of buildings canít be bothered to keep their buildings in good nick.

City Centre house was completed in 1958 so is due to be replaced at some point. I agree itís pretty dated.

Centre city tower was built in 1975 and I love the design, just needs a good clean or a recladding.
