The figth between Wladimir Klitschko and David Haye (June 20, 2009) will be held in the Veltins-Arena. With ca. 60,000 people it would be the third biggest boxing fight in Germany ever.

1. Max Schmeling – Walter Neusel | 102,000 | (26.8.1934 in Hamburg)
2. Max Schmeling – Adolf Heuser | 70,000 | (2.7.1939 in Stuttgart)
3. Wladimir Klitschko - David Haye | 60,000 | (20.7.2009 in Gelsenkirchen)
4. "Bubi" Scholz – Harald Johnson | 45,000 | (23.6.1962 in Berlin)
5. Max Schmeling – Walter Neusel | 40,000 | (23.5.1948 in Hamburg)

Even though I'm a Schalke fan I think the whole roof is shit. Would have preferred something like in Cologne or Lisbon (da Luz).

BTW are there any plans or rumours for a 3rd tier?
This one is too small for Schalke

And how will the ice cope with the outdoor temperatures in Gelsenkirchen in the beginning of May?
That's what I've been asking myself as well. I always feel like the first hot temps of the year come around in early may (and then we see more average temps again)...the game is gonna suck if it's 25-30°C outside.

Only problem is less seats of course, they'd probably still want to keep seating capacity above 40,000... You are right though a third tier is probably necessary
