U.S. Space Force Academy

For the sake of argument, assume that the Space Force will be created, and then also assume that a service academy will be formed for the new branch of the military.

Where do you think the Space Force Academy would go? Where do you think the Space Force Academy should go?

Huntsville! Space Camp is already there...

But in all reality if would need to be basically where the currently launch and landing installations are: East Coast and desert Southwest

Space Force? More Trumpian idiocy? It's worth noting that nothing of any substance has changed about space travel since the first Chinese firework went up a couple hundred feet. We still burn huge amounts of stuff to lift a little bit of payload into a place with severe radiation and no air. Coming down is as risky as going up. Recall that one space shuttle burned up going up, the other one coming down. The science of lifting stuff up there hasn't changed, we just have better computers and video. Until we have anti-gravity paint, nobody will be going up into space except as a very special, dangerous and expensive event. It's just a lot of bilge water.

Everything Trump said was idiotic until he did it like tax cuts and embassy move. I believe he'll get space force started as well. Well, Soviet used spy satellites first its an early form of space force. What else could space tech employed for military infrastructure?

This is not supposed to be a political topic on the merits of the Space Force. While there is debate about if we should have a Space Force, there are good, rational arguments on both sides. It is a legitimate topic.

The Space Force would focus more on cyberspace and cyberwarfare. Consider the small "attacks" that China and Russia conduct on our economy, like stealing users' data from Facebook or online hotel accounts and all. There is legitimate concern about an attack on our infrastructure, such as taking power plants offline. Currently, the Air Force handles cyberspace and cyberwarfare, but obviously the Air Force also has to focus on airspace. So, the idea is that the Space Force can concentrate on cyberspace.

Back to the topic at hand, if the Space Force was created, and ignoring whether someone thinks it should exist, where would be the best place for its service academy?
