ARAD 06.09.2019

The roof from Arad stadium is one of the most stupid project ones I have seen. Never seen such a big gape between top of the stand and the beginning of the roof, probably administrators didnt want to waste money with water cleaning so they decided to let the rain doing the job )). Indeed, in case of sloping rain, people from the top of the stand are exposed and they are going to be turned into sponges. Just look at the stadium from Huddersfield, same model however no significant gape roof - top stand.

The first project that comes from Moldova which as I knoow, is close to become reality. The new Botosani stadium, between 8 and 10.000 seats all covered. They want to eliminate the athletic track and build the new stands closer to the pitch. It s going to be made in stages. In the first part they want to demolish and rebuild the main stands on the side of the field. It reminds me of Ludogorets stadium rebuild
Right now there are discussion with CNI about financing this project. It s estimated to cost 15 millions euro

The first picture is how the stadiums looks now and the second an older project from Botosani
