Norwegian are starting to sell off their A320neos. They have a lot of early delivery slots and are able to flip them as they arrive. They were planning on leasing them all out, once, like they did to HK Express with early model neos, but their cashflow is too tight.

This was initially a very early A320neo order for 100 frames, later reduced to 65 A320neos and 30 A321s. Norwegian are only likely to keep some of their A321 order and 8 of these, actually A321LR now rather than A321neo, are due in 2019.

The initial A320neo sales seem to be the HK Express neo fleet.

The first A321LR will be delivered to launch customer, Israeli airline Arkia, in the next fortnight. It is a single class 220 seater with P&W engines. I am not sure if there is to be a CFM engined A321LR.

Indian low-cost carrier IndiGo is to take another 125 Airbus A321neos, by converting a batch of its huge A320neo backlog to the larger type.

But Airbus’s revised figures for October list IndiGo as having a total order of 280 A320neos – a reduction of 125 – while its A321neo commitment has increased by 125, to 150 overall.
The Indigo conversion also bumps the A321neo order book up to 2200 or thereabouts.

It has finally outsold the Boeing 757 by a factor of 2:1, only 1,050 757s were ever made.

SaudiGulf Airlines to add ten A320neo family aircraft

Quote:
Al-Qahtani Aviation, owner of SaudiGulf Airlines, has signed an agreement to purchase ten A320neo family aircraft. The commitment was announced today at the Bahrain International Airshow, which runs until the 16th November 2018.

SaudiGulf Airlines currently operate a fleet of six A320 aircraft from their hub in Dammam. The carrier commenced operations in 2016 serving domestic destinations across the Kingdom prior to expanding to international routes. In October 2018 the airline launched its second international destination with flights to four destinations in Pakistan.

easyJet orders additional 17 A320neo

Quote:
Airbus has reached an agreement with easyJet that extends the airline’s fleet plans into 2023, exercising purchase rights to firm orders for 17 A320neo. This takes its combined order for the NEO to 147 (including 30 A321neo) and means easyJet has ordered 468 A320 Family aircraft to date.

I does believe we have another record.

66 A3xx aircraft were delivered in November from the 4 factories (the US factory was almost all A321 frames) where the previous record was 65 IIRC.

The ever excellent A320archive has all the data.

https://a320archive.com/statistics/2...-aircraft-type

Of the 66 a full 46 were Neos and the remainder were mainly A320Ceos with some A321 and A319 in there too.

While there were 20 CEO deliveries in November the order backlog for the A321ceo, A320ceo and A319 ceo, COMBINED, is less than 200 now and if Airbus deliver ceos at this rate then their final ceo deliveries will be in Summer 2019.
