Please post here in order to be listed as Ukrainian forumer - whether you are living in Ukraine or you are just a Ukrainian by nationality.
Im still here, not to worry . And if we did go to the Russian forum, I'd probably leave the site all together. Either that, or every Ukrainian works out an agreement to post only in Ukrainian
I completely agree with Dr. Mesofius, if you joint Ukrainian forum with Russian I will ignore it altogether and will be finding information about constructions somewhere else.
On behalf of Ukrainian forumers I ask for moderators to inform admins ( ? ) that we're asking for more time. In fact we are gaining members, the section is growing and it's not fair to close us down while we're still a pretty fresh part of the forum.
Joining in with a Russian section is so far not supported by even one Ukrainian member.
Actually this idea of "Rus" section is very strange, to say the least. Why isn't there "Roman Empire" section? Besides, it's not just Rus' but Kyivska-Rus'. There's no such thing as simply Rus', unless you're talking about Kyivs region. It's clearly a controversial issue and according to some theories Russia cannot be considered part of Rus', but Kazakhstan and other asian nations have absolutely nothing to do with Rus'.
Let's be honest, they just want to put us in new USSR format.
Well, the Ukrainian forum has over 3 times as many posts as the Austrian forum... so if the Ukrainian section is under talks of closing, it should almost be definate that the Austrian section closes as well...
People there is no need for such a fuss. Take this as a call for new members that have been promised and don`t think too much about forum administration. If this forum gets developed nothing will be closed, merged etc.
And no Serbs wouldn`t be happy with that idea Stas. Milosevic days are over
Nate, nobody talking about closing, except of Stas...

This is a stupid idea. Leave this forum as it is. More forumers will come, give me more time. It is not easy. And I have experienced a very heavy workload that has just been lifted, so I can concentrate more on attracting new members. GIVE ME MORE TIME. No one will die if this forum is left as it is, no one will develop cancer either. So theres no need to fuss. And merging it with Russia is just complete and utter bullshit. Might as well merge a whole bunch of other forums.
Coth, I don't understand the rest of your post, but from what I am picking up, they are thinking of merging the Russian and Ukrainian sections... this is just like closing it because very few Ukrainians would go to the new section... I personally wouldn't.

And as I raised the point of Austria earlier... it is even smaller than the Ukrianian secion, so if the Ukrainian and Russian are merged, then Austria and Germany should also be merged. Furthermore, seeing as Austria's official language is pretty much the same as Germany's, barring dialectical differences, and Ukraine's official language is a different language than Russia's it would make more sense to join Austria and Germany rather than Ukraine and Russia.
