On its way to becoming one of the iconic towers of the coast:

Now all that needs doing is to get rid of all the construction equipment, materials, vehicles etc, at the base and to return the beach to how it was before.

I don’t think we have ever seen any internal shots of an apartment.. ideally a finished one. Also have we got any idea as to what level or even tower they are up to for the internal fit-out? From the outside it looks like it’s maybe 3-4 months from completion.

Good idea. Why no internal shots? There must be some units finished by now!

According to the paper today Langham will operate the hotel.

What's more, there's 1 year of internal work to go on it!!

While the Langham is a great hotel and offers all the things people want from a luxury hotel, my personal opinion is it doesn't attract the 25-45 crowd that will be more inclined to stay at a place with the beach party vibe.

I think they would have been better off aiming for the W brand as it suits the coast market. Either way I look forward to staying there in summer of 2020.

Wouldn't be a year away from completion if the developer didn't stuff around the builder and subbies.

Does anyone if Yuhu actually changed anything that was originally proposed? Also what are your thoughts on what the hotel rates will be here? My guess is $500+ per night for a 1BR ocean.

That much? Wow.

I'd have no clue what the rates would be but ghee that sounds expensive!

They say it’s 6 star & the first absolute beachfront resort on the GC in 30 years. As an idea the min. price was $1.5m for an ocean facing 1BR. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s $750-$1000 per night on weekends plus there are only 169 hotel rooms. Whether other owners can or will put their apartments into the letting pool?
