Work has now started on a new residential scheme on Gulson Road on the former site of Elliotts Car Accessories.

Nice view of the city centre showing the new development in the foreground. The image can only be a year or two old, but already quite a few additions to the skyline since then.

The collection of towers at this point will look quite something. I suspect we will see more of these 'edge of centre' sites developed as student accommodation both 'swallows up' the best city centre sites whilst also making the city centre a more desirable place to live.
