Ell posted those pictures and that question on 9th April ….. 2017. That's possibly the longest question to answer period on this forum. Well done Borg.

I believe that the Transforming Nuneaton Prospectus was to be previewed at this year's MIPIM.

The gap between regeneration efforts in towns and cities is huge so well done to Nuneaton for doing this. Sure, it will take years and will be watered down, but every town needs to do something like this. Rugby is doing something similar I believe.

Altrincham in Greater Manchester is the key model for small town regeneration.

Even very successful towns like Leaminton can't 'stand still'. Leamington is working on a cultural quarter and the Council is looking to move its HQ in order to free up a key town centre site for redevelopment.

A train station at Warwick Uni is an excellent idea. This will link in well to the new Warwick Uni relief road, which will provide an access off the A46.

Agreed, plus the planned huge housing development near gibbet hill would provide further demand for local services. For me, easing the strain off the eastern bypass/toll bar/A45 corridor during rush hour is essential because it's just ridiculous in its current state.

Personally, I'm excited at the prospect of a new station in Galley Common/Stockingford (Nuneaton) as I'm currently based there and commute daily to Birmingham, so it would benefit me massively. (Plus, the location of the planned station is right next to my local pub)
